Really liked the relaxed atmosphere and the coming and going of different kinds of people. Felt at ease being a single female traveller.Was happier when i requested and moved to room with sea view which was fab.

I was cold in my first room which got little sun and was quite gloomy. A bit over priced.

The location is fabulous and the hotel is very relaxed and not at all a formula hotel.

Considering what they charge the rooms are very very basic. The curtains are awful and also the bedspreads. They have improved the communal facilities quite a lot over the last couple of years, but the bedrooms are crying out for a facelift. Having said this I have stayed here 3 times and put up with it for the location.

The stunning beach location

the staff were fantastic. Its also located very close to lovely Talamanca beach. you get what you pay for

It was OK / good location but they did charge me twice for my stay on my card which I will take up with them tomorrow.

The Hostal is in a fantastic location and very friendly. The Terrace was a great place to sit and chill out. It was great to be so close to the city but also on the beach.

The only thing that I did not like was that the beds were very uncomfortable!

Very basic 'hotel'. friendly staff and good if you just want a bed and shower.location is great as it's right on the beach and the beach bar has a great ambiance.

Definitely not value for money.

Located right on the beach, the Hostal Talamanca was the perfect balance of Ibiza club culture and Ibiza Mediterranean beach scene. For our vacation, we wanted to go to clubs at night, sleep half the day in peace and then wake up to a chill beach and bar scene ... and this place provided all of that. The desk staff was super helpful and nice (one day guy was just okay), the restaurant food was good, the bar was fairly priced, the housekeeping was fantastic.

This is nitpicking but the towels were totally threadbare (but clean, so who cares?).

Only the seaside rooms are worth the price, all the orthers are small, noisy and full of humidity. The cleanliness below standards

Food - was terrible and had food poisoning. There were cockroaches in the kitchen and dining room. Pictures on website were misleading as looked like a very nice hotel however was not at all! Would not recommend this hotel at all, for the price we paid you could get a much better hotel!

If you like the beach, the location is fantastic and there are some great beach bars literally a few metres away. The marina is also great and just a 5 minute walk away. There was a good mix of people at the hotel, from backpackers, to families to older couples.

The hotel website gives the impression that Ibiza town is much nearer than it is. The dock area is about a 15 min walk, but it's more like 30 mins to Ibiza Town proper, which is a bit of a walk after a night out. Having said that it only cost around 8 euros for a taxi

There was not very much to like about staying at this HOSTAL, the out look from the breakfast area is nice when it is not busy.

One member of staff gives you a safe key and tells you there is no charge, then at the end of your stay the arrogant one with the attitude, (dont worry you will know who I mean) charges you 3 euro's a day. Rooms are very small, dark and out of date, and the beds are so uncomfortable you would be better sleeping on the floor. To walk into Ibiza town takes nearly half an hour and you have to walk through the area at the back of the hostal which is dirty, run downand feels a little unsafe.

The location of the Hostal is superb. The rooms with sea view look directly onto the beach and and out to sea. There were several restaurants and bars near by. The breakfast was a buffet which was good..We walked from Ibiza town to the Hostal but there is a bus service close by.

Although we had booked a sea view room at extra cost we were given a room which looked out onto the street. When we approached the receptionist we were moved to a sea view room immediately.

This was just what I needed! The first night was a bit uncomfortable as my room was a bit smelly and had a view of both a carpark and a construction site, but on request and for only a little extra money I was instantly given a much better room. This one had a little terrace with a table and chairs and was quite literally right on the sand! The staff was super-friendly and helpful, it was a nice walk into Ibiza town and there were plenty of places to walk in the Hotel area too. All-in-all, excellent value for money.

The only thing I didn't like was that nobody thought to clean under the bed, so it was pretty dirty, and it was fairly obvious that the sheets were fresh but the blankets weren't.
